HAPPY SPRING 2001.

Did something with my cousin, mikey, that I haven't done for over 10 years... rode the quad! It took a few hours but the old girl finally turned over for us. VRROOOOOMMM We were like two little kids.

Of course the 'ol Yamaha is in a real bad way. Aside from being in general disrepair, the idle needs to be manually adjusted the entire time your riding, the gear shifter is a lock wrench attached to the remainder of the old shifter, which you have to have a "feel" for to shift, one tire has a flat but an electric pump and lots of duct tape could make it last 20 minutes and of course the lights don't work.

It was excellent fun.

Do Americans complain too much? [from The New York Times]

"By almost every measure, life in the United States today is the best it has ever been: ever-rising living standards; rising life expectancy and falling rates of disease; low unemployment; declining rates of crime, pollution and poverty; low risk of war; unlimited supplies of just about everything; personal freedom never greater. This is America's Golden Age."

"If we're dissatisfied and in many cases even feel sorry for ourselves when times are good, what might happen if trends reverse and hardship lies ahead? Imagine if Americans really had something to complain about."

I love driving games, always have always will.

Photos taken over the past few days. I shoot a lot on my way to and from work. Everyday I take different routes.

Sometimes it seems like there are a million things to shoot in just 5 square blocks of this city. I can't imagine all the stuff I miss?!

Luckily my company is moving to a new location. 5 totally different square blocks to shoot!
