I few months ago, with the release of the film Hannibal in full swing, I decided to read the first novel of the series by Thomas Harris, The Red Dragon.

Harris' killer is obsessed with William Blake's bizarre painting The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed with the Sun, believing there's a red dragon within him.
The book was a fast read and very suspenseful. If you enjoyed the other two books, or films, you'll like this.

So my point in bringing all this up is that there is the first major exhibition ever to be held in New York of William Blake's work at the MET.

Nice redesign of phish.com by The Chopping Block.

tuesday april 02

Since my parents will be in Italy for Easter, we decided to share a big meal this past weekend. In preparation,my sister, Danielle, and Eleni made the famous Pizza Rustica. This is Italian Easter Pie. Although, I refer to it as heart attack pie because it contains 3 types of meat, 4 types of cheese, and about 2 dozen eggs.

Our grandmother, Helen, used to make this every year. There was a period of time where no one in my family really made it. So Dani and Eleni and Aunt Maria deserve credit. AM even makes a low fat version! only a dozen eggs ;)
